Our commitment
Kurbii is designed to help independent drivers and riders connect directly. Protecting your account, ride data, and personal information is central to that mission. We apply access controls, encrypted connections, and ongoing monitoring to the platform.
What we protect
- Account access: passwords are hashed and stored using modern credential-handling practices.
- Data in transit: all traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with TLS.
- Database privacy: driver documents, payment links, and incident evidence are stored in private buckets with strict access rules.
- Ride location: live GPS is only shared during an active ride and is removed when the trip ends or is cancelled.
Driver and rider verification
Drivers must upload a current background-check document, proof of rideshare insurance, a clear profile photo, and a side-view vehicle photo before going online. Verification flags are set by Kurbii's document review and safety team — drivers cannot mark themselves as verified. Roadside assistance providers are reviewed separately before they can be listed.
Incident reporting
If something goes wrong during a ride or roadside service, you can submit an incident report with optional video or audio evidence. The Kurbii safety team reviews reports and may deactivate a rider or driver account when warranted by the evidence.
Compliance disclosures
Kurbii does not independently assert ISO 27001, HIPAA, or any other regulatory certification. Any compliance claims added here will reflect wording approved by Kurbii's legal or compliance team. If you have questions about specific certifications, please contact us at support@kurbii.com.
